Samsung just unveiled their latest Android portable player and successor to the Galaxy Player 5 released last year. The new Samsung Galaxy Player 70 Plus sports a dual-core processor at 1-Ghz and the first portable media player from Samsung with dual core processor. The world’s first PMP with dual core is the Sony Ericsson Walkman Z.
If the Samsung Galaxy 5 Player is the Samsung Galaxy S II with no mobile radio while the Galaxy Player 70 plus is Galaxy Note’s counterpart. For the record, the Galaxy Note is sold in more than 2-million units and counting. The Galaxy Player 70 plus specs includes Android Gingerbread, and features a 5-inch WVGA display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, 5MP rear camera, MicroSD card support, and a large 2,500 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Player 70 Plus price is 399,000 won ($357) for the 16GB and 469,000 won ($420) for the 32GB version.
