Motorola XYBOARD ‘WiFi only’ is now available for pre-order in the U.S. The Motorola XYBOARD has two versions, the 10.1 an 8.2. Both are running on a 1.2 Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, Gorilla Display, 5MP-Rear Camera and 1.3MP for front. It is powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb but Motorola will provide update for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Motorola Xoom2 specs

The Motorola Xoom 2 is the latest Android tablet from Motorola. Motorola released two versions the Xoom 2 10.1 and Xoom 2 8.2 – Media edition. The two tablet resembles in all specs only the display and battery size does matter. The tentative price for the Xoom 2 in the UK is around £390.00 and for the media edition 8.2-inch is £358.80.

The Xoom 2 shape is just like the Motorola Razr and Photon giving this Motorola Android devices a unique edge and distinguishable from other tablets out there. It will get Android Honeycomb first and I am pretty sure that it will get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Motorola Xoom WiFi only – available starting March 27

The long wait is over Motorola Xoom fans! DroidLife posted an ad from Staples that the Motorola Xoom WiFi only version will be available this March 27 for $600USD (available in the US only). The top contender Apple iPad 2 (16GB) cost around $500. So the WiFi only version is somewhere in the middle. This a good price cut if you don’t want the 3G version.

The Xoom is a Android Honeycomb Tablet powered by dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.

Adobe announced that a new version of Adobe Flash Player version 10.2 for Motorola Xoom will be available this March 18th, but Android fans and Motorola Xoom owners can’t wait until next week. The Flash Player 10.2 is now available via third party download. (download link below).

2. Download APKInstall - for easy install of an apk file or;

Motorola Tablet is named XOOM

Few weeks back Andy Rubin of Google Android showed the world the latest prototype of Motorola Tablet during his Dive Into Mobile demo in San Franciso running his upcoming Android Honeycomb. Now, the Droid Motorola Tablet is officially named as Motorola Xoom.

The Xoom is the first Tablet to have no hard buttons, Android 2.4 Honeycomb as its soul and an Nvidia Tegra-2 processor for its brain. With the official youtube video (posted below) the Honeycomb is optimized for Tablet. We can not really see this in action until CES this coming weeks.

According to Droid-Life source it has no 4G or LTE built –in radio but instead an external modem for 4G/LTE.

Verizon is the main carrier of the XOOM with 38 main cities and 60 Airports that are currently have their 4G/LTE service. The power of Android Honeycomb and Tegra 2 will compensate with the speed provided by 3G. Yes! It has onboard 3G.
